COVID-19 Announcement

Welcome to Our Site!

By Dr. Michael Sherman

Welcome to our Endo Blog! Tri City and Fallbrook Micro Endodontics have some exciting changes and advances for 2012.

Over the years we have always taken pride in the relationships and connections we form with our patients during the course of treatment. We hope to use this blog to perpetuate those relationships and stay connected with the San Diego community. From dental recommendations and guidelines to personal anecdotes about our lives and families, we hope to utilize this site to bring our doctors closer to the patients we serve.

Right off the bat, we have four new wonderful additions to our team.

In July, we asked Dr. Anne Wiseman to join Tri City and Fallbrook Micro Endodontics. Dr. Wiseman is a highly skilled clinician who shares our passion for endodontics and our philosophy of top-notch clinical care. We liked Anne from the minute we met her and are thrilled for her to join the team. Anne completed her endodontic program at the University of Washington and underwent a one year implant fellowship at Loma Linda University. Prior to endodontics, Anne was a dental officer in the United States Navy.

Outside the walls of root canal therapy, Doctor Brown’s wife Judy delivered their third child Reed Brown last month. Judy and Michael are ecstatic and although Reed has yet to pick up a dental handpiece, he’s healthy and sleeping well (ok, not well, but well enough :)).

There must be something in the water around our office; Dr. Sherman and his wife Lauren are expecting a baby girl in late November. Thanksgiving has always been a favorite holiday and we will certainly have something extra to be thankful for this year. Dr. Sherman promises his new girl will fill in well at tailback at the annual Sherman Family Turkey Bowl.

Our fourth addition is not as special, but in the world of endodontics it is certainly exciting. Our office will have the capability to take a Cone Beam CT scan of your tooth. The cone beam scan takes a three dimensional image of your tooth! The image essentially allows our doctors to view the tooth from all angles to diagnose everything from missed canals, extent of bone loss, width and height of bone, previously separated instruments, and dimensions of resorptive defects, all of which help provide the highest level of treatment. This latest technology provides optimal information for your tooth before the procedure is even started.

We wanted to share this wonderful news with everyone and hope you stop by our site throughout the year!
